Finalists for FMD Achievement Awards Announced

Organizers of the 2015 Facility Maintenance Decisions Achievement Awards have announced the program's 16 finalists.
 
The program recognizes the role maintenance and engineering departments play in the successful, cost-effective and energy-efficient operation of the nation's institutional and commercial facilities. The finalists emerged from a combination of Facebook voting and evaluation by Facility Maintenance Decisions editors. A panel of leaders in the maintenance and engineering management profession now will select eight entries – two from each category – from the 16 finalists to determine this year's honorees.
 
For the first time in the award program's six-year history, two entries from the same organization made the list of finalists. Frederick County Public Schools in Maryland earned finalist status in the personnel management and sustainability categories.
