Standard To Address Cradle-To-Grave Asset Costs

APPA plans to create an American National Standard that addresses decision making for facility assets, enabling managers to accurately project financial expenditures throughout the cradle-to-grave building lifecycle. The proposed APPA 1000: Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for Facilities Asset Management, will establish a common framework for facility assets to identify and more effectively track and manage costs of a facility, building, and supporting infrastructure or assets over their full life cycles by using total cost of ownership principles.
