Free DOE Webcast: Advanced Energy Design Guide for K-12 Schools



A free, live webcast entitled "Implementing Recommendations from the Advanced Energy Design Guide for K-12 School Buildings" will air on Thursday, April 16 at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.




A free, live webcast entitled "Implementing Recommendations from the Advanced Energy Design Guide for K-12 School Buildings" will air on Thursday, April 16 at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
 
Hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy, through its EnergySmart Schools initiative,
the webcast will provide an overview of the Guide, including recommendations based on climate zones to achieve 30 percent energy savings over baseline standard in both new and renovation school building projects.
 
The webcast will include a 90-minute presentation by Paul Torcellini and Shanti Pless of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, followed by a 30-minute live question and answer session.
