Lions Not Amused by Zoo's Safety Drill

  July 16, 2019

Most facilities have periodic emergency safety drills, but a Japanese zoo's lion escape drill has captured the Internet's attention, according to an article on the Bored Panda website.

The Tobe Zoo in Ehime, took video of the exercise featuring a human dressed up as a lion.

The footage shows someone acting the part of an escaped lion wandering around the zoo, perhaps looking for lunch.

As the "lion" roamed, the real cats observed the proceedings.

Based on the internet video, the real lions were not impressed.
