Building Codes Cut Hazards to Facilities: Report

Adopting the 2018 International Codes generates a national benefit of $11 for every $1 invested, according to the “Natural Hazard Mitigation Saves: 2018 Interim Report” recently released by the National Institute of Building Sciences. The group found that benefits come in the form of avoided casualties, post-traumatic stress, property damage, business interruptions and insurance premiums. Click here for more information.
