Humanscale has recalled its QuickStand Lite workstations after receiving 52 incident reports involving the workstations, including 12 incidents involving minor injuries, according to U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notice 19-205.

The recalled workstation’s M8 Dynamic Long Arm can fail, causing the workstation to fall. The recall affects about 22,700 units sold in the U.S., plus an additional 2,200 sold in Canada, sold between January 2016 through November 2018. The recall involves QuickStand Lite height adjustable workstations for single or double computer monitor screens. The workstations have a keyboard platform and an adjustable arm.

Facility managers with the recalled workstations at their facility are directed to remove them from use and contact Humanscale for a free repair kit. Humanscale can be reached at 855-319-0315 and at their website
