Chair Recalled Due to Fall Hazard

Several chair models from five brands have been recalled because the seat slider bolts and push nuts can disconnect and fall from the chair, which could cause the seat to detach from the chair. The slider mechanism allows the user to adjust the seat depth.
The recall involves 47,900 office chairs in the U.S. (plus 1,000 in Canada) with a Leggett & Platt Office Components LP01 synchro slider mechanism. No injuries have been reported at this time, according to U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall 17-158.
Affected chair models include: HON Nucleus; Sitmatic Beta; JSI/Jasper Seating Protocol, and Proxy; Hugg Jaguar, Lido, Verona, Tigre, Leon, Opus, and Regis; and Via Seating Proform, Brisbane, Genie, and Riva Act II.
