Save Trendy Colors for the Paint on the Walls

  September 30, 2009

Choose neutral colors when deciding on new flooring or systems furniture in a renovation project. Those components of a space have a long life-span and are less likely to get replaced, even if their trendy color scheme has gone out of style. The best investment is to spend money wisely on neutral products that will last through design renovations down the road. In order to keep the space from looking dull and drab, however, facility executives should look to paint as an inexpensive way to liven up a space. With a neutral background, feel free to experiment a little more with wall and accent colors to add interest to the space. Because paint is relatively inexpensive, if a color doesn’t work out, it’s easy to try a different color scheme.
