The trim mounts on the ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 8200 mortise lock and offers multiple mounting options. It provides a functional, ligature-resistant option for behavioral-health units. Easier door activation and an ergonomic paddle offer a target for elbows and hips, giving health care staff options when their hands are full. The trim complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and is available in a range of finishes, including stainless steel. Maintenance staff can coat it with an optional MicroShield™ antimicrobial finish.
