Vast® composite permeable pavers reduce the volume and velocity of stormwater runoff by infiltrating 4.9 gallons of rainwater per square foot per minute when installed with aggregate conforming to ASTM D448 No. 8. The material is comprised of 95 percent recycled composite and provides slip resistance, maintaining a precise 0.275-inch space between pavers in conformance with ADA guidelines. Yielding zero scarp, it requires 95 percent less energy to manufacture than concrete products , and it emits 96 percent fewer in greenhouse gasses compared to concrete products.
