VP's Rigid Frame provides column-free interior space. Spans can range from 30 feet to over 300 feet in increments of ¹⁄₁₆ inches. Rigid Frames can be designed for center ridge, off‑center ridge or single slope. Roof pitch can be as low as ¹⁄₄:12. Can be used in conjunction with other VP framing systems, such as Open Web or Continuous Beam. Rigid Frames can also be used with other systems including block, tilt-up, conventional steel framing or even wood. This 55 KSI steel, solid web framing system consists of either straight or tapered rafters, rigidly connected to either straight or tapered vertical columns.
