Mas X-10 lock has been upgraded to include a backlit LCD display. Users illuminate the combination window by turning the dial to power the lock. Lock is self-powered and generates its own power when the dial is turned, eliminating the need for batteries. According to the company, the lock is the only one to meet U.S. Federal Government Specification FF-L-2740B, Style 1, which sets standards for the use of electromechanical combination locks in federal facilities.
