The Tier 4 line consists of seven medium-sized machines with a non-diesel particulate filter engine. The loaders are powered by an ultra-low particulate combustion engine, which reduces matter created during combustion. The new engines have a 4-12 percent increase in torque. The S510, S550 and T550 feature radius lift paths. The S530, S570, and T590 models feature vertical lift paths, providing the ability to lift heavier loads higher to clear high-side truck boxes and hoppers, as well as to place pallets. The machine protection system monitors, manages and shuts down the engine if needed. In cold weather, the loader temporarily limits the maximum engine speed to prevent wear and failure.
