Advocate™ is a personal hand-washing station that provides access to water, soap, and a hand dryer within a user’s space. The system features a water-conserving, 0.38-gallons-per-minute (gpm) faucet, which is below the 0.5 gpm required for public lavatories. It is available in the Terreon® solid surface and the Terreon®RE recycled solid surface material, which is comprised of 25 percent pre-consumer recycled content and a bio-based resin. Photovoltaic cells in the top of the system can store and use energy collected from normal restroom lighting to power the sensors and valves.
