The SL71 Safety Hinge provides a 19⁄32-inch clearance between the door and frame on the hinge side, leaving enough room for fingers even when the door is closed completely. The flush-mounted device is for 1¾-inch doors. The geared continuous hinges are BHMA Grade 1 certified.
