The VSS+dc from Pentadyne is designed to provide up to 190 kW continuous for 10 seconds, or longer time periods at lower outputs. For higher capacity and bridging runtime, an unlimited number of cabinets can be paralleled without the need for communication links. Unlike battery strings, if one unit in an array of VSS+dc systems were ever to go down, the remaining units instantaneously pick up and carry the load.
