EcoFlex exit trim can be used as an electrified exit device in stand-alone applications, in conjunction with a wall reader, or as part of an integrated access control lock. In comparison with solenoid-based exit trims, the EcoFlex exit trims use a motor-driven actuator that reduces energy consumption by up to 95 percent, as certified by GreenCircle. The actuator also greatly improves reliability, offers quieter operation, and eliminates the overheating that solenoid trims are prone to.
