E-Plex Stand-Alone units work with the E5000, E5200 and E5700 series. The controllers are designed for dual-swing doors, parking gates, turnstiles, glass doors, magnetic locks, and electric strikes. They feature online-type functionality in an easier-to-install reader unit with a keypad, as well as vandal-resistant, tamper-switch circuitry. If tampering occurs, the reader unit shuts down and emits bright blue lights until technicians reset the controller. The controllers interface with new or existing fire alarms and security systems, and they are compatible with most electronic door hardware.
