The Tensor is a double-action hinge for glass doors. The device returns the door to closed position by the action of the hinges alone, without the use of a recessed floor or overhead closer.
It is designed for interior applications like professional offices and art galleries, or anywhere a modern design is desired. The hinges are available for installation directly to the masonry or frame and is also available for installation to a fixed glass side panel.
Hinges are available for single- and double- leaf doors and can accommodate a maximum weight of 143 lbs. Tensor hinges have been third-party verified to 500,000 operating cycles.
