The Model 6 arc-flash resistant motor control center offers an arc-flash resistant rating of 100 milliseconds in accordance with IEEE/ANSI C37.20.7. The unit is Type 2A rated, comes standard with a full-depth vertical wireway, and meets UL 845 standards. The design minimizes the potential for personal injury from dangerous arcing faults by redirecting and channeling arc energy out of the top of the structure. The unit is equipped with designs such as self-aligning bucket power stabs and insulated/isolate vertical bus to reduce the potential of an arc-flash incident.
