The 870 series consists of two models — one imager with a visual camera and one without. The imagers include wide-angle lenses and operate at 160- by 120-pixel display resolution. The units are upgradeable to 320- by 240-pixel resolution with the SuperResolution option. Additional features include: automatic and precision manual scale control; internal storage capability of 2,000 images; one-button control; higher standard temperature-detection range; and a 3-1/2-inch LCD screen.
