Von Duprin concealed flexible cable latching system is inserted in the door before the exit device is mounted, then the exit device is attached to the center slide of the cable system after top and bottom latches are secured. The installation process has a single point of adjustment. Height of the bottom latch can be adjusted while the door is hanging. Concealed vertical cable exit devices have been certified as meeting the Florida Building Code for hurricane wind protection.
