The E-Plex 5800 series includes a range of options and features to accommodate customer preferences and applications. The system can be as simple as enrolling Federal Information Processing Standard 201 cards directly at the reader without the need for software. With software, users can check card validation against the public key infrastructure, import photos, set access schedules, and retrieve audit trails. The access-control system is an economical solution to online systems, which might not be practical or affordable in many applications.
