Mystic from Cambridge Commercial Carpets is a modular carpet tile that uses a linear, 0.10-gauge textured loop pattern. The carpeting is offered in four multi-colored blends; the distinctive coloration comes from a tufting technology that enables the use of small lots of various colored yarns - diverting useful materials from the manufacturing waste stream, and ultimately the public landfill. Mystic is available with Puralex, an environmentally-friendly air refresher specifically formulated to purify the air indoors, and Nexterra backing, which contains 85 percent post-consumer recycled content from recycled glass and plastic drink bottles. The carpeting tiles qualify for LEED point criteria under recycled content and IAQ, low-emitting materials, according to the company.
