The 6000 Series, 5800 Series ADAEZ PRO, and 5800 Series ADAEZ PRO PLUS power operators have been verified by GreenCircle to offer up to 24, 91 and 100 percent reduction in energy usage, as compared to similar door operators.

GreenCircle Certified, LLC, is an independent, third party certifier of sustainability claims in products and operations. Through a rigorous evaluation process, GreenCircle provides validation and transparency that a manufacturer’s product claims are authentic.

The three operators can be operated manually, with all capable of activation through RF devices or wall switches, such as push buttons, to meet ADA requirements.

As one of the only regenerative power door operators, Norton’s 5800 ADAEZ PRO can produce enough power to charge its on-board battery pack for up to 12 years. This door operator requires no wires, so installation is easy, and it is GreenCircle certified to provide as much as a 100 percent reduction in energy usage.

For applications requiring power close or an interface with electric locks, the 5800 ADAEZ PRO PLUS is certified to offer up to 91 percent energy savings. An enclosed transformer kit allows the unit to plug directly into an outlet for fast, straightforward installation.

The design of both 5800 ADAEZ operators enables each to fit within the tightest of spaces. Designed and tested for reliability, the ADAEZ Series ensures consistent door latching, while built to withstand high-wind and abusive environments.

Norton’s 6000 Series is a low energy operator that can integrate with access control systems, while supplying up to a 24 percent reduction in energy consumption, comparatively to similar products. For ease of installation, this operator mounts as two pieces with an LCD screen for accurate read-out of operating settings. In terms of performance, the unit delivers consistent opening and closing cycles with the added security of obstruction detection.
