ASHRAE Updates BACnet Standard on Data Communication

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) has released a new version of BACnet Standard 135 that reflects major steps in advancing BACnet for the future information technology landscape. Standard 135 defines data communication services and protocols for computer equipment used for monitoring and control of HVAC and other building systems, allowing for the interoperability of such equipment and facilitating the use of digital control technology in buildings.
