Karim Amrane

Karim Amrane, Ph.D, is AHRI's Vice President of Regulatory and Research. He is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of AHRI's regulatory policy and technology programs at the state, and federal levels. Dr. Amrane leads AHRI's advocacy efforts on issues affecting energy efficiency and the environment. He also manages the industry's cooperative research program and oversees AHRI's code activities. Dr. Amrane has over 20 years of experience in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR), and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

Sunil Nanjundaram
Director, Certification Programs
AHRI

Sunil Nanjundaram manages the organization's certification programs and the certification engineers who administer them. He is also responsible for managing the Automatic Commercial Ice-Makers product section and its certification program. Nanjundaram began his career with AHRI eight years ago as a certification engineer, during which time he managed two product section and administered several certification programs. Nanjundaram holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.
