Cybersecurity

The primary asset of a data center is its network infrastructure, which is why data center operators must prevent unauthorized access to it. What cybersecurity measures should be in place to protect a building's automation system from hackers? How can the FM and IT teams coordinate to provide the ultimate barrier to unwanted access? This session identifies the threat and offers a series of solutions.

  • Discuss specific cybersecurity measures that must be in place to protect critical facility automation systems
  • Analyze how the FM and IT teams should coordinate to prevent unwanted access
  • Review existing and emerging threats to critical facility cybersecurity measures
  • Assess solutions to a variety of threats and their impact on overall mission-critical facility operations

Arc Flash

Having the potential to cause grave personal harm, massive business disruptions, significant equipment damage, penalizing fines and workplace instability, an arc flash event requires serious attention from data center professionals - and better yet, a preventive strategy in place to mitigate their frequency, severity and impact. This webcast outlines the critical elements of an effective arc flash mitigation program for your data center.

  • Define the latest NFPA 70E and OSHA requirements as it pertains to electrical safety and electrical distribution for mission critical facilities
  • Understand the differences between proactive and reactive safety, and which approach works best
  • Evaluate the role of electrical maintenance in a mission critical building's overall electrical safety program
